We rarely use plain water for the liquid portion of our homemade soaps, because we prefer to include as many skin-loving ingredients as possible in our custom recipes. Our Rose Petal and Silk Soap is one example — rose petal ‘tea’ replaces distilled water, adding just a bit more pizzaz to the bar. Tussah silk and ground rose hips help the soap feel lovely against the skin, and two types of clay add a touch of gentle exfoliation that’s suitable for any skin type.
4 ouncesIngredients: Saponified olive oil, babassu oil, coconut oil, shea butter, grapeseed oil and castor oil. Tea from pink rose petals. White clay, red clay, ground rose hips, tussah silk. Fragrance from lavender and orange essential oils, with just a touch of patchouli essential oil to make the other two oils ‘stick.’
